The United Way of Brown County 2000 Campaign is underway! This year, the United Way asked STS to be one of ten Pacesetter companies. Pacesetter companies conduct their fundraising campaigns one month before the actual campaign begins. The results of the Pacesetter campaigns are then presented at a "Kick-off" event to all participating companies. As a Pacesetter company, STS was challenged to achieve 15% growth over last year's company results. To meet this challenge, the STS Green
Bay office planned several special events including a cookout,
silent auction, and car wash. The special events raised $632
for the United Way. This amount combined with $3,998 in employee
contributions and a $370 corporate donation brought the STS total
to $5,000. Not only did STS meet the 15% growth challenge, they
surpassed it. The total dollar contribution was up 106%!
